Marketing Plan- Billboards and Movie Posters

Our first marketing technique will be to make and hang posters in multiple countries around the world. Mae and I will hang them in popular countries like Japan, China, America, and European countries. In America, the most populated city is New York City with a head count of 8.6 million people. This is why Mae and I will primarily focus on hanging posters in effective areas in NYC. One place where we will put up pictures is in subways under the city. People walking to hop on a ride in a subway station usually don't have anything to do but think, so when they notice a movie poster for The Girl, they will think about it and possibly be very interested. The most popular and busy area of NYC is Times Square. There, many movies are advertised on the huge screens above walking pedestrians. When people see Mae and I's movie up on a big screen, they will know we spent a lot of money on advertising and think that we created a quality movie.

Outside of America, our primary focus will be Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo has even more people than New York City with a whopping 9.2 million people. Shibuya is the most popular and energetic part of the city with many many civilians roaming the streets to go to restaurants, shops, museums, and other entertainments. We will change the words on the poster to Japanese so that the locals know what is going on. Also, foreign countries tend to love American movies. Sometimes they like our movies better than their own or base their film off of ours. When they see an American horror movie being advertised in their own city, many of them will flock to see it.
