Film Project- Film Recording Day 1

Our first day recording the film was yesterday, December 2nd. We shot all of the shots at Rothenbach park. During the filming, we decided to make a change in the plot. Instead of Mae only being stalked, she will now be stocked and then killed. In the film, Mae is sitting at a picnic table at an empty park. When she is finished, she notices a familiar car that was not originally there. She calls her mom to come get her because she is scared of the owner of he car. In the mean time, she tries to walk into the woods and get away. That is when he tracks her down and kills her. An issue we had while recording was making sure there were no people in the shots. Since we were in a public park, we often had to wait a while in between shots for people to leave so they would not be in the background. I even had to ask a man to move his truck so that we could have that area of the parking space empty. Another difficult part of filming was the lack of camera equipment. Multiple takes were required for different camera shots because of the lack of camera stability. We have not yet made an ending to the film because we are not exactly sure how we want to end it.
